CREST HILL – In the spirit of helping those in need, State Senator Meg Loughran Cappel is hosting a socks and underwear drive to benefit students of Joliet Public School District 86.
“Many of us have the privilege to take things like a warm pair of socks for granted,” said Loughran Cappel (D-Shorewood). “It truly takes a village, and I encourage residents to donate to the drive to help give local students the confidence they need to succeed.”
Donations will be accepted Nov. 1 through Nov. 30. Residents may drop new donations off at Loughran Cappel’s district office located at 20660 Caton Farm Rd., Unit D, in Crest Hill.
